Strengths Discovery Session

Coaching is in large part a journey of self-discovery. Many coaches use personality assessments to help clients understand their strengths and weaknesses.

I use the Gallup CliftonStrengths with all my clients. It’s a robust, well-documented assessment that reveals an individual’s personality strengths. Working from our strengths allows us to work authentically and bring our best selves to our work.

The people behind CliftonStrengths understand that we’ll never be as successful by addressing our weaknesses as we will be by working from our strengths.

CliftonStrengths results help clients understand how their individual strengths underlie and can support authentic leadership. When these results are combined with an appreciation of their introvert strengths, clients develop a deep well of self-understanding they can draw from during their coaching journey and beyond.

I’m such a believer in the power of this assessment to uncover your potential that I offer stand-alone CliftonStrengths discovery sessions for US $197*. In a 90-minute conversation after you’ve taken the assessment and received your results, we’ll examine how your current situation aligns with your strengths, and explore the steps needed to get you working from your strengths more often.

The assessment takes about 90 minutes, so schedule accordingly.

* If after your discovery session you decide to pursue coaching with me, you’ll receive a 15% discount on a three-month Skills Builder package or a six-month Leadership Development package. Learn more about coaching packages here.

Coaching with me is:

Focused and time limited. You are not signing your life away. Most engagements are six months to a year.

A relationship of equals. You are the expert on you. I have experience, knowledge, and perspective.

Goal oriented. Together, we’ll identify and pursue the goals that will allow you to become an authentic and effective leader.

Consistent. We’ll talk frequently, so you’ll see progress and stay motivated.

Supportive and positive.  Your success, as you define it, is my only concern. You’ll try out new skills and perspectives in a safe space. We’ll focus on what works, and how you can have more of that.

Creative. You’ll be amazed at how many ways there are to get you where you want to go.

Confidential. I do not share information from our sessions without your presence.

Fun! The impact you want to make on the world is important. But it’s equally important to find joy in the work, and in life.

Alex is an amazing coach. I began working with her to get clear on where I was in my career and what my next steps were. Alex was able to help me assess my strengths, research options, and decide what direction I wanted to go in. I appreciated Alex’s experience and wisdom, as well as her warmth and sense of humor. I feel focused and ready to take on whatever comes next. I give Alex my highest recommendation.
